I’m a plus-size girl who used to take great care of my hair. But I am getting tired of (not to mention embarassed) having to try to squeeze into small chairs to have my hair cut, highlighted etc. So as a result, I’ve quit getting anything done to it. I know I’d feel much better about myself if I could get back in the swing of things with my hair. And I’m far too embarassed to call any salons & ask. (I can just see it now… I arrive for my appointment, “Oh there’s the fat girl who called.” No thanks.) So anyway, just thought I’d give it a try here & see if anyone knew of any salons in the NE Kansas area (within maybe 50 miles or so of Lawrence) that have larger chairs, or chairs with no arms? And please no rude comments like “Lose your fat a**” or “Try Weight Watchers”, etc. Believe me, I have. If it was that easy, I wouldn’t be posting this. So thanks in advance for any helpful info.
