Years ago I was in Topeka State Hospital in the boys unit. One of the nurses name was Mrs. Crum. She was a black woman who gave meds. Some how I remember I brought home an old stainless steel milk can that had paint all over it. Later I took the paint off and found the words (TOPEKA STATE HOSP) stamped in the lid of the milk can. And found the words (TOPEKA STATE HOSPITAL) stamped on the side of the can. I would like to know more about this milk can if anyone can help. I have already contacted the Topeka Kansas public library. If someone was there when I was or knows more history that could help me that would be great.
